The PV revolution

We achieved the goal by building a bespoke web solution that consists of well over 200 pages. In answering the complex brief it was essential the customer experience was thoroughly considered throughout the project. For this to be clearly understood, we immersed ourselves in Impressions business process.

By creating 5 user personas and detailing each customer journey map, we were able to highlight important user touch points. This helped us find out who and what we were designing for, once understood we translated our findings to produce a simple, fluid user interface or UI — thus creating the essential user experience or UX.

Property to rent or buy

Impression rent and sell property. For customers to access available listings within their own web environment we created rental and sales areas that integrate in real time with My DeskTop (The leading sales, listings and CRM application specifically designed for real estate industry).

Help centre

Impressions experience mean they know the real estate business. Customers have a lot of questions around renting, buying or selling and to help Impression serve their clients better an online help centre was built right into the web experience.

News and blog

A platform (other than social media channels) that keeps everyone updated with Impression and industry news was essential.

Live rental statistics

The live rental statistics area uses data based on average rentals rates collected over last twelve months (a first for the New Zealand real estate industry). Integration of this powerful tool enables property owners or buyers to easily acquire the rental information on 1000's of Auckland properties. .

Content

For any website — good content is king. Providing quality information is helpful and also essential for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

Expanding the user interface or UI

Scrolling a website on a desktop, tablet or smart phone is a basic but fundamental UI interaction. Since the Impression customer personas and journey maps helped us determine problems — we could utilise the footer of most pages to help tackle them.

Responsive web design

Having a website that worked seamlessly on multiple devices was a key requirement. By creating a fluid responsive web design (RWD) we were able to craft a site that provided an optimal viewing experience from mobile devices to laptops and desktops.
